Your Friendly Neighborhood Coffeehouse
Located in Bartlett, Tennessee, Pharmacy Coffeehouse opened its doors in summer 2025. The coffeehouse renovated a former pharmacy into a welcoming space for the Bartlett community. The space aims to provide a warm atmosphere where the Bartlett, TN residents and visitors can come together to enjoy quality coffee and good times.

The Design Process
Blake Barnes collaborated with the team of owners at Pharmacy Coffeehouse build a memorable visual identity. The primary goal was to infuse a fresh and updated feel while remaining recognizable among the local Bartlett community, emphasizing a friendly and community-focused tone. Throughout the building renovation process, Barnes worked worked diligently to ensure that the designs and color pallet felt natural with the space design, creating a consistent visual identity that felt friendly and welcoming to the blue-collar roots of Bartlett.

The Results
Maintaining the logo's rectangular shape played a key role in preserving familiarity. The Side Porch logo underwent a refresh, featuring a new typeface and color palette, contributing to a bolder and cleaner appearance. The result was a timeless design that remains legible even from a distance. Additional supporting elements were introduced to reinforce the visual identity, emphasizing the aesthetics that resonate with the warm, family-oriented atmosphere of the steakhouse.
